Dragonwell is a good, inexpensive introduction to one of the most popular green teas in China and has a light nutty and herbaceous taste. This tea originates from the West Lake area of Hangzhou, which is in the capital of Zhejiang province, in China. The leaves are flat and are pan-fired by hand, in a wok to halt the oxidation process and keep the leaves green. This technique will then produce a green tea that has a strong and bold flavor. 2 ounces makes approximately 16 cups.
