Description
Ceylon Lumbini comes from the Lumbini Tea Valley, located in the Ruhuna region of Sri Lanka. This tea was first started by Mr. Dayapala Jayawardana in 1975 and is now ran by his son. This tea valley is known for having some of the best producers of high-quality Ceylon teas. This Ceylon makes a great breakfast tea with milk and sugar, or alone. Even though this may not be a complex tea, it presents a strong and scented cup, with a sharp licorice and anise appealing layers. 2 ounces makes approximately 16 cups.
